I am John. My journey with S.O.S Catering Equipment and Engineering Ltd began at the age of 16, following in my father’s footsteps. Joining the business remains one of my proudest moments, and today, seeing my son take that same path is something I value deeply. I started my career on the tools, working hands on with equipment, learning the trade from the ground up. Over time, that experience has evolved into leading projects and collaborating closely with chefs, restaurateurs, and project teams to deliver kitchens that truly perform. Despite this progression, I still value being hands on. It keeps me connected to the foundations of the business and the standards we stand for. Beyond work, I am a family man first and foremost. I am proud of my three children and grateful for my wife, whose strength and support have been constant throughout my journey. My faith in God plays a central role in my life. It shapes my perspective and guides my values, both personally and professionally. For me, it comes down to integrity, respect, kindness, and always giving your best.
I enjoy meeting people, sharing experiences, and, of course, everything that revolves around food, from cooking at home to discovering new places around the world. Cyprus remains close to my heart, a place of reflection, connection, and belonging.
