I’m John. I’ve been part of SOS Catering Equipment since I was 16, following in my dad’s footsteps. One of my proudest moments was joining the firm, and now I get to relive that same feeling as my own son takes the same path, it’s a privilege to see the next generation stepping into something that means so much to me.
I started out “on the tools,” repairing and maintaining equipment, and over the years I’ve grown into leading projects. These days, I work closely with chefs, restaurant owners, and project managers to bring new kitchens to life or breathe new energy into existing ones. Still, I love getting hands-on whenever I can it reminds me of where I started and keeps me grounded.
Outside of work, I’m a family man above all else. I’m blessed with three incredible kids who make me proud every day, and my gorgeous wife, who has always been my strength and support. She keeps me steady and is at the heart of everything I do.
My faith in God is also central to my life. It’s what guides me, gives me perspective, and reminds me of what truly matters, family, love, kindness, and hard work. I try to live by those values, both at home and at work.
I’m also a people person I enjoy meeting new faces, sharing stories, and having a laugh. Food usually finds its way into everything I do, whether it’s BBQs in the garden, discovering new restaurants, or travelling the world to taste new flavours. Cyprus holds a special place in my heart a second home where I can slow down, reconnect, and enjoy life with the people I love most.
If I had to describe myself, I’d say I’m hardworking, driven, and maybe a little bit of a perfectionist. I don’t like letting people down, and I put my whole heart into everything I do. Life, to me, is about faith, family, and giving your best every single day.
